I love okro stew.and love to make it.but I hate doing dishes. The recipe I grew up using requires cooking the stew first, meat separate, okro separate. Okro/Okra is one of the high nutritious vegetables. It is often used to make soup, stew and sauces.

Fill with the meat mixture, then top with the other pie crust. Prick the top crust a few times with a knife to vent steam. Crimp around the edges using the Good but in my opinion not quite as good as the Meat Pie (Tourtiere).

Steps to make Okro and meat pie semo:
  1. Put your washed fish,stockfish, steamed meat,kpomo inside the pot.Add your pounded crayfish, okpenye,fresh pepper, then add maggi and salt to taste.cover to boil for like 15mins (depending on the quantity you are cooking). Add your ugu leave, then turn and your okro soup is ready.
  2. Add 2 or more cups of water in a pot.if the water boils,mix some semo with cold water in a bowel,pour it inside the boiled water,keep turning it by adding dry semo until u are OK. Serve with your okro soup.

Prick the top crust a few times with a knife to vent steam. Crimp around the edges using the Good but in my opinion not quite as good as the Meat Pie (Tourtiere).
