Just a simple, classic sponge cake. I used lemon juice instead of vinegar. Very close to the traditional pound cake - with the added flavour of browned butter, and some extra lightness from the whipped egg whites. Eggs should be at room temperature.

  6. Bake @180 degrees for 20 minutes or until done
  7. For the icing beat we’ll adjust consistency, taste as you desire
  8. Decorate with 100’s and 1000’s
