Hey everyone, it’s John, welcome to my recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, quick carbonara. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I’m gonna make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Humble ingredients—eggs, noodles, cheese, and pork—combine to create glossy, glorious pasta carbonara. It's the no-food-in-the-house dinner of our dreams. This timeless recipe is usually made with cream, but we've gone authentic and used pasta cooking water for a lighter version. Spaghetti Pasta Carbonara—indulgent and delicious, yet so easy!

Quick Carbonara is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It’s simple, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions daily. They are nice and they look wonderful. Quick Carbonara is something which I have loved my entire life.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have quick carbonara using 4 ingredients and 11 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Quick Carbonara:
  1. Take 250 grams Spaghetti
  2. Take 3 large eggs
  3. Prepare 6 slices bacon
  4. Prepare Handful Parmesan cheese grated

This Carbonara recipe is where I explain how easy it is to make it the Italian way.

Steps to make Quick Carbonara:
  1. Add some oil to a large frying pan (big enough to mix the spaghetti in later) and start to cook the bacon
  2. At the same time cook the spaghetti as per the instructions. I used dried spaghetti so added to a pan of boiling water and cooked for 10/12 minutes
  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl, season with salt and pepper and add half the grated parmesan
  4. Once the bacon is cooked, put to one side off the heat. This is important as the cooling pan helps stop the eggs scrambling later.
  5. Once the spaghetti is ready, drain BUT keep a couple of tablespoons of the water.
  6. Put the spaghetti into the pan with the bacon.
  7. Stir the spared pasta water with the egg mixture. This warms the eggs which helps prevent scrambling.
  8. Pour the egg mixture over the pasta and stir.
  9. Serve immediately, season and add remainder of Parmesan as you wish.
  10. An Italian friend recommends grating nutmeg over the top.
  11. Enjoy !!
