  1. Get 1 kg carrots
  2. Prepare 1/2 litre milk
  3. Take 1/2 bowl pure ghee
  4. Make ready 200 gm khoya (mawa)
  5. Get 1 bowl sugar
  6. Take 4-6 green cardamom
  7. Make ready 1 bowl mixed dry fruits
Instructions to make Carrot Halwa with Khoya:
  1. Wash peel and grate red juicy carrots.
  2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed karahi. When ghee melts add grated carrots and cook on low flame till its juice is evaporated and carrots are cooked. It may take 15 minutes.
  3. Now add milk and let it simmer on low flame till milk is absorbed by carrots. Keep on stirring. Add sugar and coarsely grinded cardamoms and Cook till sugar dissolves and water released by sugar gets dry while stirring. Now crumble khoya and add in karahi. Stir and cook for 2 minutes on low flame. Keep stirring in between.
  4. Add dry fruits and mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame.
  5. Serve hot garnished with chopped dry fruits.
