  16. Prepare As required Oil for deep frying
  17. Prepare to taste Salt
  18. Make ready For Gravy-
  19. Take 2 medium Tomatoes
  20. Get 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  21. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  22. Make ready 1/4 cup thick Curd (yogurt) (not sour)
  23. Make ready 3/4 cup Water
  24. Take 2 tablespoons Oil

  5. Method for Gravy: Blanch the tomatoes and crush them with cashews nuts to make tomato-cashew puree.
  6. Heat 2-tablespoons oil in pan over medium flame. Add cumin seeds and cook for 7-10 seconds. Add ginger-garlic paste,chopped onion and stir-fry until it turns light pink in colour.Add tomato-cashew puree and mix well. Stir-fry for 5-10 minutes
  7. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and stir-fry for a minute.Add thick curd and mix.
  8. Add water and cook over medium flame for 3-4 minutes. Stir in between occasionally.Add fried kofta balls.
  9. Cook for 5 minutes and turn off flame. Transfer it to a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
