The ingredients needed to make Akara(kosai):
  1. Take 3 cups beans
  2. Prepare 1 onion
  3. Get 3 tattase
  4. Prepare 2 tarugu
  5. Prepare 1 Ghana pepper
  6. Prepare Pinch salt
  7. Get 1 satchet of green onga
  8. Prepare 3 cups oil

Koose (kosai, akara, akla) is made from ground cowpeas or black-eyed peas. Vigna unguiculata (known as black-eyed peas in America; usually called cowpeas in English-speaking Africa; also called china beans, and black-eyed beans) are native to Asia, the Middle East, and perhaps Africa.

Instructions to make Akara(kosai):
  1. In a bowl wash ur beans and remove the bag
  2. Allow to soak for 20minutes
  3. Add in the onions tattase and tarugu
  4. Grind in to smooth past
  5. Beat and add the small pinch of salt Ghana pepper powder
  6. Deep fry in moderate hot oil
  7. Serve and enjoy
