Hello everybody, it is me again, Dan, welcome to our recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to prepare a special dish, prawn congee. It is one of my favorites. This time, I’m gonna make it a bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Prawn Congee is one of the most popular of current trending foods on earth. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. Prawn Congee is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They are fine and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook prawn congee using 10 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Prawn Congee:
  1. Take 200 gram Cooked rice
  2. Get 100 gram Cooked king prawns
  3. Make ready 1 Fried Cakoi/Youteao
  4. Take 700 ml Water
  5. Take 2 Poached egg
  6. Get 1 Chicken stock cube
  7. Take 1 Spring Onion-finely sliced
  8. Make ready 1/2 tsp Sugar
  9. Take 1/2 tsp Fish sauce
  10. Make ready 1 tsp Light soy sauce
Steps to make Prawn Congee:
  1. Put the water, chicken stock cube and cooked rice into pan. Bring it to boil, then simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the pan from the heat.
  3. Use an electric handheld blender to blend the rice soup for 30 seconds ( blend for 1 minute if you prefer a smoother consistency.
  4. Return the pan back onto the hob, add the cooked prawns, sugar, light soy sauce and fish sauce. Then simmer for another 3 minutes.
  5. Put the Prawn Congee into the serving bowl and top with a poach egg, spring onion, sliced cakoi/youteao and ground black pepper.
