Hey everyone, hope you’re having an incredible day today. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, risotto… with trahana. One of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I am going to make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Risotto… with trahana is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It’s simple, it is quick, it tastes delicious. It’s appreciated by millions daily. Risotto… with trahana is something that I have loved my entire life. They are fine and they look wonderful.

Trahana is a traditional Greek pasta made with flour kneaded with sour milk, buttermilk or yogurt and some salt. Add tomatoes, water, sugar and bring to a boil. Trahana (cous-cous-like dry paste with dairy) in a red sauce. If you don't like milk or yogurt and you want to try something different.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can have risotto… with trahana using 13 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Risotto… with trahana:
  1. Get 1/2 cup trahana
  2. Take 2 cups water
  3. Get 8 tbsp concentrated tomato sauce
  4. Make ready (or 2 finely chopped tomatoes but less water)
  5. Get 1 small/ medium-sized onion
  6. Get 1 tbsp olive oil
  7. Take 1 tsp sugar
  8. Make ready 2-3 tbsp red wine
  9. Get salt

  11. Get 1 little cinnamon
  12. Get parsley
  13. Take freshly ground pepper

Instructions to make Risotto… with trahana:
  1. Place the oil into the pot and sauté the onion over strong heat.
  2. As soon as it starts to change color add the trahana and mix for 1/2 - 1 minute. Stir in the wine.
  3. Add the water, the tomato and the rest of the ingredients (sugar, salt, paprika, parsley, cinnamon) except the pepper.
  4. Turn down the heat and let it boil until all the liquids are absorbed (for about 10') stirring often.
  5. Season with freshly ground pepper and serve.

When trahana is cooked in broth, the broth thickens slightly, as it does when you make risotto with Arborio rice. I make this savory, comforting mixture of mushrooms and trahana the same way I make. This is a fun fusion not to be taken too seriously! Its absolutely delicious and I hope you'll give it a try! Trahana is normally eaten in soups or as a porridge.
