The ingredients needed to make Vegetarian Bolognese Spaghetti:
  1. Prepare 1 1/2 Tbsp Olive oil
  2. Prepare 2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
  3. Get 1 Onion chopped ( medium sized )
  4. Make ready 1/2 Cup Soya Granules
  5. Take 4 Tomato chopped ( medium sized )
  6. Prepare 2 tbsp Tomato puree
  7. Get 1 Carrot chopped (medium sized )
  8. Get 2-3 tbsp Sugar
  9. Take 2 tbsp Basil leaves
  10. Take 1/4 tsp Dry thyme
  11. Take As per taste Black pepper powder
  12. Make ready To taste Salt
  13. Make ready 400 gm Spaghetti
  14. Make ready 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese

Needless to say, spaghetti is a comfort meal around here. However, I wanted to make my best vegetarian version of a Spaghetti Bolognese. Pour the lentil sauce over the spaghetti, scatter the tofu on top. When the spaghetti is done, drain in a colander and place back in the saucepan.

Steps to make Vegetarian Bolognese Spaghetti:
  1. Add water to a pan and boil.
  2. Add spaghetti pasta, olive oil and salt to boiled water.
  3. Cook it for about 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes,drain out spaghetti and take it out of cold water.
  5. Put 1 Tsp of Olive oil on spaghetti and mix well.
  6. Soak soya granules in hot water for 10 -15 minutes.
  7. After 15 minutes, filter soya granules and squeeze all the water.
  8. Heat oil over medium flame in a pan.
  9. Cook till the onion turns golden.
  10. Put chopped carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  11. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes or until tomatoes are cooked.
  12. Add tomato puree and mix well.
  13. Mix boiled soya granules, basil, thyme, salt, pepper powder and mix well.
  14. Place cooked spaghetti in a serving plate.
  15. Put the prepared sauce on Spaghetti.
  16. Serve with the parmesan cheese and basil leaves.

Pour the lentil sauce over the spaghetti, scatter the tofu on top. When the spaghetti is done, drain in a colander and place back in the saucepan. Serve the spaghetti with the bolognese sauce on top and a grating of the hard Italian cheese. Be the first to rate & review!
