Gingerbread is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It’s simple, it is quick, it tastes yummy. Gingerbread is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.

To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can cook gingerbread using 9 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Gingerbread:
  1. Take 100 g all purpose flour
  2. Make ready 1/2 tsp baking soda
  3. Take 3 level tsp. Ground ginger
  4. Take 1 beaten egg
  5. Get 3 tbsp.milk
  6. Take 50 g butter/margarine
  7. Get 50 g sugar
  8. Get 1 tbsp. Golden syrup
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp. Raisins/sultanas
Instructions to make Gingerbread:
  1. Sift all the dry ingredients together into a mixing bowl.
  2. Melt the butter, sugar and golden syrup together in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in with a wooden spoon and when properly melted let it cool slightly.
  3. Blend the fat and syrup mixture into the dry ingredients.
  4. Add the beaten egg to the milk, mix and add it to the batter mixing well until incorporated.
  5. Add in the raisins and stir properly.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf tin and bake over moderate heat of 180c-190c for 20-25mins.
  7. When done allow to cool before removing from the tin.
  8. Cut into slices, squares and ENJOY!!!
