  1. Take 10 dried kokum peel
  2. Get 4 Split green chillies
  3. Get to taste Salt
  4. Prepare as needed Water
  5. Take 2 tsp Rasam powder
  6. Make ready 2 tsp Coriander leaves for garnish
  7. Get For Tempering
  8. Take 2 tbsp oil
  9. Get 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  10. Make ready 10 curry leaves

  3. Then add another 1cup or 2 cup of water, salt, green chillies, Rasam powder. Let it boil for 10 minutes. Then off the flame.
  4. Lastly add tempering and coriander leaves in it and stir well.
  5. Serve it hot with rice.

Kokum rasam/juice is good summer drink. This is good for pregnant women, kids and everyone. Kokum has many more therapeutic uses. Rasam can also be made by omitting coconut milk. Whenever a recipe calls for tamarind, you can replace it with Malabar tamarind.
