  6. Take 2-3 tbsp Milk
Steps to make Sunnandalu/Urad Dal Laddus:
  1. Dry roast dal with a tablespoon of Ghee. It will take about 20 minutes on low heat. Do not hurry at all as this step determines the taste of your Laddus. The dal should be roasted evenly and not burnt.
  2. After roasting, dry grind it and keep it aside. Grind Sugar also a fine powder. Now mix Daal, Powdered Sugar, Nuts and Cardamom powder well. Add in the melted Ghee also. After mixing well, it's ready to be shaped into Laddus. At this point, if required, add Milk and start shaping into medium-sized balls.
  3. Yummy, healthy and nutritious Laddus are ready to be served. These can be stored in airtight containers and relished up to 20 days.
  4. Or even more, if stored in the refrigerator. They can be made in large quantities and stored for a long period. They can be enjoyed with a hot glass of Milk. Happy Feasting!
