  15. Get 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

  17. Prepare 1 teaspoon Jeera
  18. Take 1 teaspoon amchur powder
  19. Make ready Pinch hing
  20. Get 8 chopped cashew nuts
  21. Get 10 raisins
  22. Get 1 teaspoon crushed coriander seeds
  23. Make ready 2 tablespoons oil
  24. Make ready 4 tablespoons oil for frying
Steps to make Stuffed Urad dal Kachori:
  1. First make soft dough with the ingredients and keep aside for an hour.
  2. Meanwhile we will prepare the filling. Heat oil in a wok, add jeera and hing, let it crackle, add turmeric powder and onions, saute till pink, add blanch urad dal, mix well and saute for two minutes, add all masalas and again cook for two minutes, turn the flame off and let it cool completely.
  3. Make balls from the dough, roll in poori size, put filling in the centre, apply little water on the edges and close it. Just press it between your palms, no need of rolling again.
  4. Prepare all like this.
  5. Heat oil for frying, low the flame, drop not more than four kachoris at a time, cook on low flame all the time till brown and crispy from both the sides, take out on a kitchen towel.
  6. Now serve hot with khatti meethi chutney.
