The ingredients needed to make Veg biryani:
  1. Prepare 2 cup basmati rice
  2. Take prepping vegetables for biryani
  3. Make ready 1 cup cauliflower
  4. Prepare 2 medium potatoes cube
  5. Make ready 1 carrot cube
  6. Get 1 small simla mirch
  7. Take 10-12 beans chopped
  8. Take For cooking biryani rice
  9. Take 3 each green cardamom /elaichi, cardamom / badi elaichi, cloves / laung
  10. Make ready 1 bay leaf
  11. Prepare 1inch dalchini / cinnamon
  12. Take To taste salt
  13. Make ready 5 cup water
  14. Prepare For the veggies gravy
  15. Take 3 tbs ghee
  16. Take 1 tej patta / bay leaf
  17. Prepare 1 inch dalchini / cinnamon
  18. Get 1 tsp jeera / cumin
  19. Make ready 3 elaichi / cardamom
  20. Make ready 1 cup whisked curd
  21. Get 1/2 tsp haldi / turmeric powder
  22. Make ready 1 tsp red chilli powder
  23. Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  24. Get 1/2 cup water
  25. Get To taste salt
Steps to make Veg biryani:
  1. Sock the rice in water for 30 minutes.take a pan add water and heat the water on high flame. When the water become hot add all spices, bring the water to boil then add rice.cooked the rice drain and keep aside.
  2. Making gravy in a cooker ghee add all the spices saute the masala tii the crackle.now add green chilli, ginger paste,add all the veggies and saute well. After add curd,haldi powder,red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt and mix well.pressure cook for 1 whistle on medium flame.
  3. LAYER AND MAKING VEG BIRYANI Now in thick bottom pan, layer half of veg gravy first then layer half of the rice. Sprinkle half of chopped coriander, mint leaves and saffron milk.Repeat the same.
  4. Now seal and secure the pot with aluminum foil, then cover with a lid.
  5. Take a tawa and heat it on medium flame after tawa hot biryani cook 15-20 minute on low flame. Ready to serve
