  1. Get 1 cup Semolina
  2. Take 1 cup Vermicelli
  3. Take 1 cup curd mix with 1cup water
  4. Get 1/2 cup grated carrot
  5. Make ready 1/4 cup beetroot juice
  6. Prepare to taste Salt
  7. Get 1/4 tsp eno's fruit salt
  8. Get For tempering-
  9. Make ready 1 tbsp oil
  10. Make ready 1 tsp mustard seeds
  11. Get 1 chopped green chilli
  12. Make ready 1/4 tsp grated ginger
  13. Take 8-10 curry leaves
Steps to make Vermicelli Rava Idli:
  1. Dry roast the semolina/ rava, vermicelli separately until light brown & allow them to cool.
  2. Mix together semolina, vermicelli, curd,grated carrot & beetroot juice.
  3. Heat oil in a small pan,add mustard seeds,chopped green chillies,grated ginger,curry leaves & saute until curry leaves become crisp.
  4. Pour the tempering to the semolina- vermicelli mixture, mix well & keep the batter aside for 30 mints.
  5. Finally add salt,eno's fruit salt to the batter,mix well & pour batter to each idli mould & steam the idlis for 15 mints on medium heat.
  6. Serve it hot with coconut chutney.
