Amala (Yam flour) is a common food consumed in Nigeria especially the Yoruba Clan.   1. Sieve ur yam flour. Put water in the pot allow to boil. When boil pour in ur yam flour and stir gradually still u achieve a solid form. Then add little water and cover to allow steam together. The turn again and drop from gas.
  2. Cut ur ewedu out from the stick. Then rinse it. U can pour it into a blender and blend it then pour into a pot and allow to boil stir together add ur locust beans and salt then Maggi allow little boil then drop.
  3. Your stew is already ready.

I prefer Eba or Amala with Ewedu & stew. I'll leave my poundo with efo egusi. You don't need to be suppress,becouse the choice of individual is difference so now you know that you can use Ewedu and stew but you can still leave your poundo with efo egusi sa ooh. Amala and Ewedu soup will always stay one of the most popular Nigerian soups, not only among the Yoruba people. A combination of Ewedu leaves and Amala This Nigerian food made out of either cassava or yam flour makes Ewedu soup unbelievably tasty.
