Suji Kakara Pitha is one of the most popular of current trending foods in the world. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. Suji Kakara Pitha is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

To get started with this recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook suji kakara pitha using 11 ingredients and 30 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Suji Kakara Pitha:
  1. Make ready 2 cups Semolina/Suji
  2. Take 1 cup Grated coconut
  3. Prepare 1 cup Chhena
  4. Take 1 tsp Cardamon powder
  5. Take 3/4 cup Jaggery
  6. Take To Taste Salt
  7. Make ready 3 tsp sugar
  8. Prepare 2 Cardamom
  9. Make ready 2 Bay Leaves
  10. Make ready 4 cup water
  11. Take as needed Oil to Fry
Steps to make Suji Kakara Pitha:
  1. For Stuffing : Take a pan & heat it.
  2. Add grated coconut, chhena, jagery & mix them well.
  3. Fry for 5 min till jagery melts.
  4. Cook it on low meduim flame.
  5. Cook it till jagery melts & coconut becomes golden brown.
  6. Now it becomes light brown & dry. Add 1 tsp green cardamom powder.
  7. Turn off the gas & let it cool down.
  8. For Dough: Take a kadhai & add 4 cups water.
  9. Add 1/2 tsp salt & 3 tbsp sugar & mix it well.
  10. Let the water for boiling
  11. Gradually add suji with one hand into it & stir continuously with other hand.
  12. Stir it properly to avoid forming lumps.
  13. Cook it for 3-5 mins on low flame.
  14. When it turn into dough shape, turn off the flame
  15. Cover it & let it for 5 mins.
  16. After 5 mins, open the lid & let it cool down.
  17. When it become little bit cool, add 1 tsp refined oil & make a soft dough
  18. Dough is ready, now make equal size small doughs.
  19. Stuffing & dough is ready now.
  20. Apply some oil in your palm to make pitha.
  21. Make a pit in the center, put some stuffing in it & seal the edges.
  22. Now press it gently.
  23. Now Kakara pitha is ready for fry.
  24. Heat the oil on low meduim flame.
  25. Now fry pitha, cook for 2 mins on low flame.
  26. Cook another side for 2 mins.
  27. Fry till they become light brown from both side.
  28. Now it became light brown, so take it out.
  29. Fry all pithas like same process
  30. Now our Suji KaKara pithas are ready to serve.
