  7. Use a knife to cut the dough in triangular shapes and repeat the process until the whole dough is cut into round shapes.
  8. Heat a heavy deep bottomed pan until the oil is hot. Drop the mandazi few at a time. Fry until golden brown. Put in large bowl covered with paper towel to drain excess oil and keep warm.
