Mutton Kosha or Kosha Mangsho is meant for today with loads of love (apart from the spices in curry). Like, Mutton Kosha aka Kosha Mangsho and Bengali Mishti Pulao or Sweet polau. I'm not a fan of rice or mutton but I don't miss a single chance to enjoy this perfect marriage on special. This velvety Bengali Mutton Curry (or what we call it as 'Kosha Mangsho') is a perfect Durga Puja lunch recipe that would be loved by everyone!

Steps to make Mutton kosha(mutton  curry):
  1. Matinate the mutton with salt turmeric powder,red chilli Powder,onion,ginger garlic paste, oil and curd,keep aside for 2-3 hrs
  2. Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf red chilli whole and whole garam masalas
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and saute well
  4. Add onion chopped and saute till it is soft and brown now add the mutton and saute well
  5. Cook on low heat till it is soft and moist
  6. Now add water and simmer till the mutton is tender
  7. Add sugar (optional) and garam masala powder along with ghee and serve.

I'm not a fan of rice or mutton but I don't miss a single chance to enjoy this perfect marriage on special.
