I love aloo tikki more so for its simplicity than the fact that tikkis in general are so delicious. I often make aloo tikki with grated potato which makes it so much quicker since you don't have to boil the potatoes first but my mom in law recently introduced me to this lovely aloo tikki with palak or spinach.   3. Spinach blanched
  4. Potatoes boiled
  5. Chop spinach in a chopper and put into a bowl.
  6. Break 3 bread slices and crumble in the chopper
  7. Grate the potatoes into the bowl with spinach and mix. Add salt, cumin powder and breadcrumbs..
  8. And mix with hand.
  9. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Shape the mixture into small round tikkies.
  10. Place a small cutter over 3 bread slices and cut small rounds.
  11. Place the tikki on one side of the pan and shallow-fry. On the other side of the pan
  12. Cut lettuce leaves into small round.
  13. Switch off the heat from under the pan. Line up the bread roundels on the table top. Place a drop of tomato ketchup on each and top it with a piece of lettuce.
  14. Place a tikki over the lettuce.
  15. Cut cheese into small triangle and place a triangle on each tikki. Place a tomato piece on top and pierce a toothpick through all the layers.
  16. Arrange the tikkis on a we plate and serve…
