This curry ketchup is a great sauce for lamb burgers or oven-baked French fries. It mixes the sweetness of ketchup with Sriracha hot sauce and a bit of curry. Goes great with lamb burgers with balsamic-caramelized onions and Gruyere. I like curry and I like ketchup, so I thought I'd give it a try.

  1. Heat Oil in a saucepan, cook Onion and Garlic over medium low heat until caramelised, or at least very soft.
  2. Add Curry Powder and stir for a minute. Then add Water, Ketchup and Worcestershire Sauce. Bring to the simmer and cook until required thickness is achieved.
  3. Season with Salt. Add Ground Chilli is more heat is needed.

Goes great with lamb burgers with balsamic-caramelized onions and Gruyere. I like curry and I like ketchup, so I thought I'd give it a try. I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. You get a good amount for the money, it's thick, and you can really taste the curry. First it hits your mouth like regular ketchup, but then the curry comes through, but not in an overpowering way.
