  13. Get 2 tbsp oil
  14. Get 1 bay leaf
  15. Prepare 1 inch cinnamon
  16. Make ready 2 onion finely chopped
  17. Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric
  18. Make ready 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  19. Prepare 2 tsp coriander powder
  20. Take 1 cup water salt as a taste
  21. Take 1 cup chopped tomato
  22. Get 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  23. Prepare 1/2 tbsp cream
  24. Make ready 1 tsp garam masala
  25. Make ready coriander leaves finely chopped

Pan fried spinach stuffed with panner balls are mixed in a creamy tomato gravy which is perfect with a Whole wheat naan or Jeera. Let us start with preparing the kofta balls for the curry first. Clean the spinach leaves, remove the stalk and rinse the leaves with water thoroughly. The kofta (veggie ball) in has green spinach, mushrooms, mashed potatoes as balls which are baked first and and The kofta in this recipe is all about green spinach, mushrooms, boiled and mashed.

Instructions to make Spinach kofta:
  1. For kofta: In a large pan or kadai heat 2 tsp oil and saute onion, garlic after that add spinach add cook 2 to 3 minute. Remove from heat and cool completely and blend to smooth paste.
  2. Take a bowl paneer, mashed potato,besan, corn flour, chilli powder, salt, garam masala and spinach puree, combine well make a dough.
  3. Take a small part of dough and prepare a round ball without any cracks.
  4. After that roll them in corn flour and deep fry in hot oil, stir occasionally and fry till the kofta turn golden and crisp.
  5. For gravy: - Firstly make tomato paste, grind tomato with cashew nuts and ginger garlic paste.
  6. Heat in a pan over medium flame add 2 tablespoon oil and cumin seeds, bay leaf and cinnamon stick when they start to turn golden brown, add finely chopped onion and sauté until it turns light pink in color.
  7. Add turmeric powder, coriander power and chilli powder, mix well.Now add tomato paste and cook for 10 min or until the oil release form paste.
  8. Add chopped coriander and mix well. Now add 1 cup water or more how much you want to thick gravy.
  9. Add salt and garam masala and mix well and cook a minute Now gravy is ready add kofta and move from heat.
  10. Pour in a serving bowl garnish with cream and serve with naan and rice.
