Hey everyone, hope you are having an amazing day today. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a special dish, mint pulao. It is one of my favorites. This time, I’m gonna make it a bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Mint Pulao is one of the most favored of current trending foods on earth. It’s simple, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions daily. They’re nice and they look wonderful. Mint Pulao is something which I’ve loved my entire life.

To begin with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have mint pulao using 21 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Mint Pulao:
  1. Get 1/4 tbspn Poppy seeds -
  2. Get 5 strands Cilantro -
  3. Get 1/2 cup mint leaves -
  4. Take 1/2 cup Onion -
  5. Take 1 inch Ginger -
  6. Take Green chillies - as per your taste (I use 2 thai chilli)
  7. Take 2 Cooking oil tbspns -
  8. Take 1 tspn Mustard seeds -
  9. Get 1 inch Cinnamon stick -
  10. Make ready 2 Cloves -
  11. Get 2 Bay leaves -
  12. Prepare 4 Cardamom whole -
  13. Prepare 2 tspns Salt - (Or according to taste)
  14. Take 1 strand Curry leaves -
  15. Make ready 1/2 cup Onion chopped -
  16. Get 1/4 cup Carrot chopped -
  17. Make ready 1/4 cup Beans chopped long -
  18. Get 2 Potato chopped in big pieces -
  19. Make ready 1/4 cup Green peas -
  20. Make ready 2 cups Rice - (I used sona masuri rice but you can use basmati rice too).
  21. Make ready 4 cups Water - .
Instructions to make Mint Pulao:
  1. First grind all the ingredients under "For grinding/paste".
  2. Wash the rice and keep it aside.
  3. Take a pressure cooker/pan. Add in the cooking oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add in the mustard seeds. After it crackles, add in the curry leaves and fry till moisture is removed.
  5. Now add cardamon seeds, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and saute for few mins.
  6. Add chopped onions and the ground paste and fry few a min.
  7. Now add all the other veggies (green peas, carrot, beans, potato, beans) and saute for few 5 mins.
  8. Add in salt and water and once water starts boiling, add in the washed rice.
  9. Pressure cook this (3 whistles)
  10. Once done, mix it once again before you serve! (It goes well with cucumber and tomato raita).
