Stir in cheeses, and cook over low heat until cheese is melted and the sauce is a little thick. Put macaroni in large casserole dish, and pour sauce over Duh, that's what Mac and cheese is about!! My kids love it with chopped up hot dogs. Mac and cheese is one of those recipes that can take on so many different forms.

  1. Melt butter in a skillet or pan, add garlic and cook for a minute, then add flour. Combine everything.
  2. Next add milk bit by bit stirring to combine. Add salt and pepper
  3. Add Irish cheddar, parmesan cheese, and half of the British cheddar cheese. Combine until the roux is thick and cheese is melted.
  4. Add cooked ricatoni and mix to combine, immediately transfer to an oven proof dish, sprinkle left over British cheddar cheese on to and put in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven, add on top peas and serve.

My kids love it with chopped up hot dogs. Mac and cheese is one of those recipes that can take on so many different forms. I love it anyway I can get it but baked mac and cheese is my very favorite and I'll tell you Cook the pasta one minute shy of al dente according to the package instructions. Remove from heat, drain, and place in a large bowl. Microwave for at least two minutes longer so the pasta can cook through.
