  2. Prepare 300 g milk
  3. Make ready 200 g whipping cream
  4. Prepare 170 g sugar
  5. Make ready 4 egg yolk medium
  6. Prepare 30 g corn flour
  7. Get 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla

  1. In a saucepan mix milk and cream together and warm up slightly without bringing to boil and set aside. In another saucepan add 4 eggs with sugar, beat together and add the corn flour.
  2. Add the milk to the egg mix and cook on low heat, always stirring until the custard is thick. Transfer the custard to a glass bowl.
  3. Cover with some clingfilm touching the top of the custard and refrigerate for at least 5 hours. Unroll the puff pastry roll and cut 20 squares. Separate them and place them on baking paper in a baking tray and cook them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10 min.
  4. Slice all the square down the middle to make two parts.
  5. With a piping bag fill the pastry with custard. They can be eaten cold but in my town traditionally we would eat them warm by putting them in a preheated oven at 90 degrees for 5 min. Sprinkle the top with icing sugar and enjoy.
  6. Make sure you have napkins with you as you will need them 😊
