  2. Then slowly add the jowar flour, keep stirring with a long spoon. Then when water absorbs the flour, switch off flame.
  3. Now take the pan off the stove, mix well and cover the pan for 10 minutes.
  4. Then knead the dough well for 5 minutes, using rice flour if needed.
  5. Then heat a skillet, roll out ball sized portions of the dough gently, using rice flour. Then lift carefully and place on tawa. Dust off any excess flour with a wet cloth.
  6. On medium flame, roast on both sides till brown spots appear. Take in a plate and keep covered in a cloth till serving. Repeat the process for rest of the dough.
  7. Serve the hot Jolada Rotti with green vegetables curry(soppu saagu), a salad of onions, methi leaves and lemon wedges. Serve pickel and a mixture of jaggery and ghee as a sweet dish ! Enjoy!
