The ingredients needed to make Paneer Pyaaz Masala:
  1. Take 2 cups Soft and fresh Paneer(cubes)
  2. Take 1/2 cup Onion paste
  3. Take 1/2 cup Tomato paste
  4. Take 1/2 cup Chopped onions
  5. Get 2 teaspoons Besan
  6. Prepare 1 Chopped green chilli
  7. Make ready 1 tablespoon Ginger and garlic paste
  8. Get 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  9. Make ready 1 tsp Garam masala
  10. Take 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  11. Get As per taste Chili powder
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp Kitchen king masala
  13. Take 1 tsp Kasuri methi (crushed
  14. Prepare to taste Salt
  15. Get 1/2 tsp Sugar
  16. Make ready as needed Water
  17. Get 1 tablespoon Ghee
  18. Make ready 1/2 tablespoon Butter
  19. Get 1 teaspoon Vegetable oil
  20. Get Handful Corinader leaves (chopped) to garnish
  21. Get As required Sliced onions and lemon wedges to garnish
Steps to make Paneer Pyaaz Masala:
  1. Heat a pan. Add 1 teaspoon ghee. Add the onions and saute them till they are pink and translucent. Then add a pinch of sal and the paneer. Saute lightly. Add 1/2 teaspoon each turmeric, chilli powder and garam masala. Mix well but gently and them remove from flame. Keep aside covered.
  2. In same pan, heat rest of the ghee and add cumin and a pinch of garam masala. Then add the onion paste. Fry well till it's cooked and leaves aroma. Then add ginger nad garlic paste, fry well. Then add tomato paste and keep mixing till oil leaves from sides.
  3. Then add green chillies, all the spice powders and mix well. Add 1/2 cup water, cover and let all the masalas cook with the pastes.
  4. Lastly, add the prepared onions and paneer along with the spiced oil and mix well. Add besan mixed in 1 tablespoon water and mix. Add half of the coriander leaves and cook all well for 2minutes till gravy thickens and besan is cooked well. Adjust the salt, sugar and masala tastes.
  5. Then add the kasuri methi, 1/2TSP kitchen king masala and finish the dish by mixing in the butter.
  6. Serve with lachha paratha and garnished with coriander leaves, sliced onions and lemon wedges. Enjoy.
