  2. Pour your marinated tripe in a pan, pour water and bring it to a boil. When it has started boiling lower your flame to low, cover and let it simmer until cooked to your desired tenderness and the liquid has thicken and reduced.
  3. Sever while hot with your ugali.

Remove from the heat and stir in the garlic. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, sambal oelek, oyster sauce, ginger and sesame oil; set aside. I made this for our Asian cuisine themed Thanksgiving this year. Very flavorful, I added extra soy and oyster sauce per taste but other than that I stuck to. Classic exotic hoisin and savory garlic flavors.
