Hey everyone, it’s Louise, welcome to our recipe site. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a special dish, akara. It is one of my favorites. For mine, I will make it a bit tasty. This will be really delicious.

Akara is one of the most favored of recent trending meals in the world. It’s easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Akara is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look fantastic.

To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have akara using 3 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Akara:
  1. Get 3 cups beans, scotch bonnet, 1 large onion, salt, ajino
  2. Prepare Moto, teaspoon curry, teaspoon mixed spices
  3. Take 2 red bell peppers, veg oil for frying
Steps to make Akara:
  1. In a bowl pour the beans and soak for 20mins with warm water. You can either use your hand to peel it or pound it in a mortar. Wash with enough water and strain after each step.
  2. Using a heavy duty blender blend the beans together with diced onions, pepper and red bell peppers. Once you've achieved a very smooth paste, transfer into a clean bowl.
  3. Using a wooden spoon stir to combine. Add the salt, ajino moto, mixed spices and curry. Beat with the wooden spoon for about 15mins. Heat oil in a pan and once hot start the frying process. Once the first side is brown flip to fry the other side. Once done drain in a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  4. Serve with your pap or anything of choice.
