  1. Put the whole-wheat flour and plain flour in a bowl, add salt and mix well. Add dried yeast into the bowl and mix again. Make a well in the centre of flour. Pour warm milk and water and mix with your hand.
  2. You will have a soft and sticky dough. Knead the dough with your hand for 10 minutes. If is very sticky add some whole -wheat flour until it is soft and slightly sticky.
  3. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel until doubled in size (about 1-2 hours).
  4. Once the dough rise, punch down the dough to make it flat and knead again for 5 minutes. Put the dough back inside the bowl and leave to rise (about 30 minutes).
  5. On the floured surface, divide the dough into 8 portions and shape each piece into a ball. - Sprinkle them with plain flour
  6. And cover them with kitchen towel and leave to rise in a warm place for another 30 minutes
  7. Heat the pan and put muffins. Cook the muffins slowly about 12 minutes and then flip over and let to cook other side for 12 minutes.
