  5. Spread the dough with jam and sprinkle cinnamon then fold the dough
  6. Cut the folded dough into slices and place onto the greased pan and bake
  7. Remove from the stove and let the cool a bit

For an American twist, lightly sprinkle the scones with cinnamon sugar before you place them in the oven. Serve with cinnamon butter and honey. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut the butter into the flour mixture with a pastry blender or two knives.
